While growing up in a small town in Rhode Island Brooke had found a love for shopping and fashion related activities such as drawing fashion figures by portraying designs on paper and participating in a few pageants. As she grew older eventually she decided to pursue a career in the fashion industry beginning with Visual Merchandising in retail stores. Brooke ended up going to college to get more in depth to the fashion industry and began at Johnson and Wales University where she received an A.S. in Fashion Merchandising in 2000. She decided to move to New York and continue her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied for a more creative background and graduated in 2003 with a B.F.A. in Fabric Styling. While she had progressed with schooling Brooke participated in an internship with Fairchild Publications in the Women’s Wear Daily Fashion Editorial department. There is where she assisted on many editorial photo shoots, working with the editors choosing clothing and accessories, dressing models, and dealing with fashion showrooms. She also participated in another internship at Victoria’s Secret Design Studio in the Fabric and Textiles department where she learned about the design process. Later Brooke continued on to work with Eleni Lambros Couture who specialized in Bridal Wear. Along with Eleni she helped out on photo shoots and prepped her models for market week where Eleni’s designs were seen by many fashion editors of well known publications. She also gained experience in working during Fashion Week dressing models backstage in a hectic fast paced environment.
In 2004 Brooke had started participating more on advertising photo shoots which is the most significant work she has done as a Wardrobe Stylist. She mainly worked in the advertising area which requires the clothing to be gathered by shopping various stores. On these shoots she has been fortunate enough to work with celebrities such as Vivica A. Fox, Julianne Moore and Paul Shaffer just to name a few. Also the "Don't Be an Asterisk" Anti-Steroids Public Awareness Campaign Brooke styled was lucky enough to win the Ad Council's 2008 Silver Bell Award for Creative Excellence. Currently Brooke works at Clothes Lines Unlimited showroom where she connects chain store buyers with private label designers as well as works as a stylist on photo shoots.
